Mom? Or Super Woman?

I don’t know about you, but my mom is one of a kind. A mix of super-woman, shaman, and Oprah. She was always mixing up some herbs and potions to help one of our sore throats or upset stomachs. Consistently doing her best to take care of our health while trying to support our family financially. We owe a great deal to her sacrifices and self-lessness.

One thing that my mom did NOT put up with was “bad for you” ingredients. Actually, it’s part of the reason I started Bunny James but that is a whole other story for a different day, today is about her.

My Mom was a trained herbalist, and I was familiar with ashwagandha, holy basil, dandelion root, and benefits of turmeric way before they were mainstream. She believes in the healing properties of the earth and that was somehow passed on to me through osmosis.

Quick funny story, one day I came home as a teenager a little red eyed (if you know what I am saying….) carrying a bag of Doritos. My mom had no issue with the red eyes but was furious that I had been eating Doritos! She was always focused on natural ingredients, limited processing’s, and being able to understand the labels of food products, supplements, and body care items.

We made our Cruelty Free Beauty boxes this year with my mom in mind. You can pronounce all the ingredients, feels safe putting everything on your skin, and experience a 5 star organic spa right in your home.

Here are a few of the features I want to share with you.

THE SMELL – Our entire facility in Utah smells like a flower garden! Natural Eucalyptus Essential oils, Lavender Coconut Wax Candles, Chamomile & Raspberry Teas, Witch Hazel Sage Dream Spray, and so many more wonderful fragrant products.

THE PRESENTATION – It is possible that water works will start as soon as your mom opens the box. The mix of purples, yellows, and blues, on top of a colorful bed of paper shreds… its almost overwhelming. Messaging of “You’re Enough” quickly screams to the peripherals. This care package is legit an experience!

CRUELTY FREE – Every product we sourced for both beauty boxes is made with cruelty free ingredients. No bunnies were harmed in the making!
